Different x ray tech degrees

•    One year program
If you are already into the healthcare field and want to change your carrier to x-ray technician or expand your knowledge in this field you just require a 1 year accelerated program.  Most 1 year programs are for registered nurse or other medical professionals want to change their carrier. It will be equivalent to associates degree, and such courses are focused much on radiology classes.
•    Two year program

•    License
According to survey done in 2007, 40 states in America require a license with 35 of them needing certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
•    After a student has completed his/her course and has passed in the exams, their certificate is awarded which is known as certification. The license also needs awarding from the particular state in which you choose to work upon.
•    Some of the 35 states following ARRT standards include California, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, and many others.
